Some people loved Batman vs Superman and Suicide Squad. Some people hated these movies. Others just had mixed feelings.
But A LOT pf people are majorly hyped for the solo Batman movie.
If you count yourself a part of this group, then I have great news for you: we’re going to be getting the movie a lot sooner than we all originally thought.
Here’s the story.
When we first caught glimpse of Batman in action in Batman vs Superman, it kinda overshadowed all of the story-cramming that a lot of people were pissed off about.
The action sequences were beautiful and as a fan of the Batman Arkham Asylum games, I totally marked out.
So, as you might understand, I cannot wait to see Ben Affleck’s Dark Knight take action in the solo Batman movie.
And it get’s even better. Today I wake up to the news the solo Batman movie is actually only 18 months away. SO. GEEKIN’. AWESOME!
The announcement comes from Warner Bros CEO Jeff Bewkes who recently discussed the DC franchise over at ComicBook.com. He said:
Ben announced a Batman movie [that] he’s going to direct, star, write for – I think it’s a year and a half out. So, the strategy worked.
18 months out? So is that the release date or just when production begins. At this stage, we do not have that
information.
But we can live in hope that this totally awesome solo Batman movie will get to us as soon as possible.
