Super Smash Bros is a Nintendo game that is epic beyond any reasonable proportions. I mean, come on. All of your favourite Nintento characters smashing the shit out of each other for your own entertainment….are you not amused???
So you have this awesome game and then decide you want to create a tee design based on those characters. Great, right?
Then you get the overly ambitious idea of wanting to make the characters even cooler. BLASPHEMY!!!
So you do a mash-up tee design, combing the Super Smash Bros with Marvel Avengers.
MIND = BLOWN.
So let me break this down for you, from left to right. First up, we have Pikachu as Thor. God of Thunder. Pikachu deals mostly in electric, right? Makes sense.
Next up we have Donkey Kong as the Hulk. I think that link is quite obvious…the Hulk LOVES kidnapping princesses…right?
Then Mario has Captain America. The icon of Nintendo games as the icon of Marvel. I like it.
Metroid as Iron Man, for obvious reasons. Then The Princess as Black Widow – I assume because they both have red hair? Then Link as Hawkeye? That’s pretty cool. I think I’d buy this tee for that alone.
I have no idea what is supposed to be the Vision. Call it old age if you have to. Call it ignorance if you like. Call it being out of the Nintendo game character loop as much as you want.
I’m sure someone awesome out there will fill me in
