Whatever you may think of Edgar Wright’s departure from Marvel’s Ant-Man, have to admit that it’s shaping up to be something of an awesome movie.
For the most part, Marvel has done a good job limiting the details for the movie from the public eye to point where certain cats members don’t have a character listed next to their name’s on Ant-Man’s IMDB page.
But in a recent interview with HeyUGuys, Archer actress Judy Greer has revealed her role in the movie and it’s a big deal.
“I’m Paul Rudd’s estranged ex-wife,” Greer confirmed. “We have a daughter together and our relationship is, well, estranged, but I feel like my character is still rooting for him to succeed. I guess that’s about as much as I can say.”
Why such a big deal? Because their daughter – Cassie Lang – goes on to become Stature – a super hero in her own right using her late father’s acquired Pym particles.
There maybe no plans for Cassie at this juncture, but in the Marvel movie universe you never know.
