With Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them scheduled to be released on 18th November this year, Warner Bros have already commissioned a sequel.
Today a Fantastic Beasts sequel release date has also been set for the movie.
With a franchise set in the same universe as Harry Potter, led by the continually impressive Eddie Redmayne it’s hardly surprising they’re acting quickly. It’s pretty much a license to print money.
Deadline Hollywood are today reporting that
the sequel to Fantastic Beasts and where to find them will be released on 16th November 2018 and JK Rowling will return as screenwriter.
Pretty cool, huh?
The Fantastic Beasts sequel will reportedly delve deeper into the world that will be eastblished by the first movie, a dark time for wizards in which the protagonist Newt (Redmayne) and his fellow wizards must choose their sides.
The announcement from Warner Bros was made by president Greg Silverman.
